Terms of your stay - Reservation and Cancellation

Dear Customers,

Our objective is to make your stay at La Ferme du Lac**** an excellent one. In order to help us reach this goal we have set up the following rules, which we thank you in advance for respecting before and during your stay.

Arrival and Departure
The rooms are available from 4.00 PM. Rooms must be vacated at the latest at 10.30 AM on the day of departure. If this is not the case we are entitled to invoice an extra night. Hotel reception closes at 09.00 PM. If you arrive after 029.00 PM you will be given an access code. Consequently we invite you to inform us of your arrival times if you arrive after 6.00 PM by dialling +33(0) or when you make your reservation.

Means of payment
We accept MasterCard, Visa and American Express cards as well as cash, ANCV, Tickets Restaurant.

Reservations become firm on reception of the deposit. We reserve the right to request a deposit of 30% of the total amount, to be paid by credit card, wire transfer or cheque.
If the reservation is guaranteed by cheque, the cheque must be payable in a French bank.

All cancellations must be confirmed in writing. You can cancel your stay without any fees until 30 days before your arrival. If you cancel your stay less than 30 days before your arrival, the deposit paid will be kept by the hotel.
* We reserve the right to take a deposit and inform the customer of this prior to doing so. If a deposit is not taken, we require the credit card number as a guarantee. In the event of cancellation or no show giving rise to the application of penalties, we will automatically charge your credit card.

No show
If customers who booked a stay do not call the hotel to cancel, 100% of the stay amount will be charged with the credit card.
Shortened stay

During the cancellation period or after your arrival, if you shorten your stay you will be invoiced 50% of the remaining stay. For all fixed price reservations (breakfast, half-board, or other fixed price offers), services that are not used will not be refunded.

Group reservations
All reservations of 3 or more rooms will be considered to be a group reservation. On confirmation of the reservation we will request a deposit of 50% of the stay price. As for individual reservations, deposits are not refunded.
The solde of the stay must be paid before arrival.

There are no supplements for children less than 3 years old who share their parents room. A cot can be reserved with the room (depending on availability).

Restaurant and breakfast opening times
Breakfast is served from 7.00 AM to 9:30 AM on weekdays.
Breakfast is served from 7.30 AM to 10.00 AM on weekends.
Dinner is served in the restaurant from 7:00 PM to 09.00 PM in winter and from 7.30 PM to 09.30 PM in summer. (time the last orders are taken)

The SPA is open from 10.00 AM to 09.00 PM. Persons under legal age must be accompanied by an adult.
It is mandatory to read the instructions shown in the SPA before each use our Hammam and Sauna.

Local Tax
Our prices do not include the local tourist tax.

At La Ferme du Lac smoking is strictly prohibited in the rooms and public areas. Each room is fitted with highly sensitive smoke detectors. Each room has a terrace or balcony with ash trays for those who wish to smoke!
Deodorising costs equivalent to the price of one extra night will be applied to customers who smoke in their rooms.

Parking and Vehicles
A free covered car park is available. Despite the fact that all security measures are taken, we decline responsibility for theft or damage to vehicles using the car park.
A ski room and a cycle room are available.

Small pets and dogs
At La Ferme du Lac we share the opinion that pets are part of the family and they are welcome. Only pets will be accepted on condition that they are kept on a lead and do not remain alone in the rooms during the day. With supplement.

Assistance and advice
When you make your reservation our reception team will do its best to advise you on local activities, events and leisure, as well as on transfers to and from the airports and TGV stations.

Deteriorations and removed objects
We will invoice all deteriorations caused by the customer to the room or the theft of objects belonging to the hotel either at checkout or after departure. 

Safes are available in the rooms, the establishment therefore declines all responsibility in the event of theft.

Forgotten objects
For all objects forgotten in the hotel, shipping costs will be at your expense.

Environmental policy
We make our personnel aware of the environment and train staff to adopt correct environmental practises; we also regularly assess our procedures and resources used.
Each cigarette stub will be disposed of in the ash trays available outside the establishment.
A cigarette stub in a land environment (town, countryside etc.) can take up to 12 years to decompose.

Changes to terms and conditions
These terms and conditions can be subject to change without notice.

Consumption meditation
According to article L.612-1 of the consumption law, it is recalled that “all consumers has the right to freely use a consumer ombudsman in order to amicably resolve the litigation which brings in conflict with a professional. To achieve this, the professional guarantees to the consumer an effective remedy to consumption mediation device”. Regarding this, La Ferme du Lac hotel offers to his consumers customers, concerning litigation that would not have been resolved amicably within 60 days, services of a consumer mediator: It is recalled that mediation is not obligatory but only proposed in order to solve a litigation avoiding recourse to justice.

Withdrawal period
According to article L221-28 12th the right of withdrawal may not be exercised for contracts […]of services of accommodation, other than residential accommodation, transport of goods services, car rental, catering or leisure activities that should be provided with a specific date or period.

Personnal data

Any services will be subject of a registration accessible by the customer on request with the following address :
According to the Law 78-17 “Data processing and freedoms” of the 6th of January 1978 modified, customers have a right of access, of rectification and opposition to personal data processed about them.
The customer can also refuse the treatment, solicit a limitation or request the suppression (within the limits of the legal durations of conservation) of personal data.
This right can be exercised on simple written request to who will answer to the made requests.
The purpose of the processing of the personal data collected corresponds to the obligations relating to the services conducted (customer management, business development…)
